Upcrop ShieldUp Bass contains entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana that can attack a wide range of insect pests at larval or adult stages. Upcrop ShieldUp Bass is useful in controlling pests such as thrips, grasshoppers, white flies, aphid, codling moth, coffee berry borer, diamondback moth, etc.

Upcrop ShieldUp Bass contains 2 x 106 cfu/gm of Beauveria bassiana in a wettable formulation.

Dosage

  • Seed Treatment: 10 g of Upcrop ShieldUp Bass/kg of seed. Mix the recommended dose of Upcrop ShieldUp Bass in sufficient quantity of water and coat it over 1 kg of seed uniformly. Shade dry for 30 minutes and sow the seeds in less than 24 hrs.
  • Seedlings Treatment: 5 gm of Upcrop ShieldUp Bass/L of water. Mix the recommended dose of Upcrop ShieldUp Bass in sufficient quantity of water and dip the roots of the seedlings for 30 minutes in the suspension and transplant immediately.
  • Soil application: 1 kg of Upcrop ShieldUp Bass/acre. Mix the recommended dose of Upcrop ShieldUp Bass in 10 kg of farm yard manure/vermicompost and broadcast.
  • Foliar application:3 kg of Upcrop ShieldUp Bass/acre. Spray the recommended dose of Upcrop ShieldUp Bass thrice at 10 days interval from the onset of disease. If there is no disease, single spray is sufficient.
  • Planting pit: 2 gm of Upcrop ShieldUp Bass/pit
  • Horticulture crops: 25-50 gm of Upcrop ShieldUp Bass/treE. Mix the recommended dose of Upcrop ShieldUp Bass with sufficient quantity of farmyard manure/vermicompost/soil and apply the mixture in the root zone of tree.
  • Upcrop B-shield can be mixed and applied along with other biofertilizers, biopesticides, organic manure, seaweed-based fertilizers and vermicompost.
  • Shelf life is 1 year.
